Frequently
Asked Questions
I
feel I have been
victimized by the
wrongful conduct
of others. How can
I determine if I
have a legal matter
worth pursuing?
We would be pleased to meet with you to review your case. Call our office at
954-467-8800 and provide some initial information regarding your legal problem
to our new-case inquiry specialist. We will then review that information and,
if warranted, make a prompt appointment for you to meet with a lawyer in the
firm. You will not be charged for your initial phone call or appointment, and
it is important that you bring with you to the initial meeting all documents
or materials which you have pertaining to your case.
I
don't think I can
afford a lawyer.
How much do you charge
for your services?
The
law office of Kelley/Uustal only
represents individuals,
families and consumers.
Most of our clients
cannot afford to pay
the high hourly rate
charged by the "prestigious" law
firms who work for
HMO''s, hospitals and
corporate clients.
Our firm works on a
contingency fee. We
do not charge our clients
for our legal services
unless we are able
to obtain some financial
restitution for them.
In that event, our
fee is based on a percentage
of the amount of money
which we are able to
recover for our clients.
The percentage varies
from case to case depending
on the complexity of
the legal matter, but
generally runs about
40% of the recovery.
